One of the early Astro-community tests of the PUNCH Science Data Portal (SDP) has been for the processing of MeerKAT on-the-fly (OTF) interferometric data. By deploying containerized radio astronomy processing scripts and pre-existing software, we have demonstrated that the Compute for PUNCH (C4P) processing provides a useful way for handling the systematic processing of radio astronomy data. We have developed also a special mode of C4P processing that deploys on a target cluster at LMU (or anywhere else with appropriate setup), where the datasets are pre-staged and the output radio image products can be easily stored for further analysis. Currently, we are preparing to deploy C4P processing on the Linux cluster at the Leibniz-Rechenzentrum (LRZ) in Munich. Deploying PUNCH4NFDI SDP tools within a supercomputing environment then provides a path forward for large scale, data intensive processing and analysis jobs that take advantage of the high performance computing resources available here in Germany and throughout Europe.
