AGN and starburst are frequently found coexisting in galactic centers and there are open questions regarding the interaction processes between the AGN corona and the surrounding starburst. It is therefore important to disentagle these regions in order to account for non-thermal processes in particular. This work will present current developments and efforts in differentiating AGN-starburst composites in edge-on galaxies using radio frequency data, with an overview of past efforts.
